1 Timothy 3:14-15 says, “I am writing these things to you so that...you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.” (ESV, italics added)
The language of "Fellowship" is designed to help us embrace the idea that a church consists of the people who have partnered together for the Gospel. This is the language of several biblical authors (1 Cor 1:9; Phil 1:5, 4:15; 1 John 1:3, 6-7)
